Only 10 more days of Camp NaNoWriMo left and I’m behind. Yikes. Writing slowed down for me this past week but I’m back on track today. I’m loving the inspiration of my fellow writers, they push me to be better. One of my “cabin” mates wrote a great blog on all the people in our cabin. It shows what awesome and diverse writers I’ve been able to learn from throughout the month:
Nadia has written a great novella entitled “Pretty Into Fashion” and is available on Amazon and Amazon Unlimited! Thanks for the great post Nadia!
Speaking of Amazon Unlimited, has anyone signed up? I’m loving it so far! My only problem is there are so many great books and so little time. I’m considering putting more books into Amazon Unlimited, but that would mean I couldn’t release them to Barnes and Noble and other great places. So I have a fun poll to see where you guys want to see my books.
Day 7 of Camp NaNoWriMo. I’m in a “cabin” with 10 other awesome writers and we’ve all set goals on how many words we will write this month. My goal is to finish my first full length novel and I’m 1/4 of the way through! Wowzer.
My days can be summarized as followed:
“There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed.”
I’m still planning on publishing “Their Secretary” on Sunday! I’m excited for the first installment of “Jake’s Guest House”. And make sure to have a fan nearby because it is hot hot hot.
And since it’s Tuesday here’s a Tasty Tuesday Treat just for you:
The results are in and …. drum roll….
“Their Secretary” will be the first book released in my short stories of “Jake’s Guest House”. Thanks for all those who voted! All three books will be released in July!
It’s a good thing I’m rested from my vacation, because I’ll also be participating in “Camp NaNoWriMo”. Check out the webpage. (Shout out to my awesome cabin!) I’m hoping to write my first full length novel during this time. It’s titled “A Vampire’s Prey”. A wickedly good tale of vampires and wolves… and when I say wicked I mean hot hot hot.
Here’s the book cover sneak peek:
This novel will be released this fall, so as you know I could change the cover completely before then.
Thanks again for all your votes!
PS. My red lazy-boy chair is unfortunately still in my possession.
